A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work as an Accounts Assistant for a food manufacturing company in Brecon. Beacon Foods Ltd is offering an exciting role which includes detailed accounting work and interaction with non finance managers. We require someone who is personable with attention to detail and most importantly has a passion for accountancy.

**Main duties**:

- Purchase Ledger
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Review of Product Costings
- Fixed Asset Register
- Stock Control
- Ad hoc tasks

**Role requirements**:

- good grade at Maths
- confident using Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Show initiative and be self motivated

You will be able to deal with a changing business but have a presence of mind to perform highly detailed work under time pressure. You will be willing to grow through continuous training and support.

Hours of work to be agreed - full or part time considered.

Salary circa £24,000 to £25,000 **FTE**, depending on qualifications and experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
