**Role:Yard Foreman**
**Sector : Building Supplies - Builders Merchants - Construction**
**Location: Warrington, Cheshire**
**Salary : £25,000 - 28,000 DOE**
Our business is currently recruiting for a **Yard Foreman** to lead and manage a team of Yard Operatives.
As a **Yard Foreman**you will be responsible for, motivating and developing colleagues to achieve a high standard of work. Supervisory or managerial experience is preferred, but non-essential as full training on the specifics as a **Yard Foreman**will be given.
Previous experience of working in a busy yard is essential, although not necessarily at managerial level, as it is pivotal to the smooth running of the business as a whole.
To be successful as a **Yard Foreman** you will need to be pro-active and willing to develop as the responsibilities are wide and varying.
Previous experience within a Builders Merchant environment would be advantageous but by no means essential.
**Role**
- Review stock and par levels of the facility and report accordingly
- Monitor loading and stacking ensuring accuracy of delivery
- Be aware of and ensure all health and safety compliance
- Drive and develop a customer service culture with effective communication
**Skills and Experience**
- FLT Licence
- Previous Yard experience
- Knowledge of the Builders Merchant / Construction sectors
- Experience of loading and unloading HGV vehicles
- Experience of maintaining high levels organisation of products
