**We are located in Banbury, near the town centre with bus connections. On-site parking is free, and meals are supplied at a heavily discounted rate.**

**This is a permanent contract, with hours to be discussed. Overtime availability, which includes enhancement pay and weekend enhancement.**

A General Kitchen Assistant is needed to join the amazing team at Green Pastures Christian Nursing Home. For nearly 30 years, we have been a well-known and respected nursing home in Banbury. We are a non-profit organisation that have a large number of employees and provide exceptional care.

We take pride in providing our residents with high-quality menu's, and all areas of our food are guided by our vision of fullness of life, growth, and excellence.

Duties and responsibilities will be:

- Food preparation and replenishment of counters, as well as the preparation of dining areas for service.
- Weekend work will be involved
- Washing up and clearing down after service
- Outstanding customer service abilities
- Excellent communication with line managers and employees.

With comprehensive catering skills, you will be the crucial link between the main kitchen and serving food to our residents and visitors. If you don't have a basic food hygiene certificate, you'll need to demonstrate your ability to grasp and complete the course.

**Experience is not essential; as we will support you with the training and responsibilities that need to be carried out. We are looking for someone who is sensitive, kind, eager, and motivated and wants to work with our small yet close-knit staff.**
