Part-time Housekeeper

Working 20 hours a week, you will join the housekeeping team atAberbeeg Hospital in Arbetillery where you will be responsible for deep cleaning all areas of the service, including wards, office spaces, bedrooms and visitors areas.

**Your responsibilities will include:**
- To ensure all areas of the designated Companies premises are cleaned on a daily basis, following cleaning schedules set by the Operations Manager.
- To ensure all areas are deep cleaned weekly, following set cleaning schedule
- To ensure all resident’s clothes are cleaned and pressed.
- Ensure all residents rooms are kept in a clean and tidy manner.
- Ensure all residents wardrobes and clothes drawers are kept clean and today
- Ensure all linen cupboards and store rooms are kept in a clean and tidy manner.
- Ensure all laundry is processed on a regular basis according to the Laundry Policy and procedure.
- Report all maintenance requirements to the Unit Manager or Nurse in Charge.
- To relate to residents, relatives and carers with empathy.

**To be successful in this role, you will need**:

- Previous experience of cleaning within a similar environment
- Enjoy cleaning and get satisfaction from a job well done
- Prioritise duties and responsibilities effectively
- Be a good communicator
- Have good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
