**An established accountancy practice in the Richmond area, has a vacancy for experienced Bookkeeper/Payroll Clerk.**
Experience of working within practice and dealing with multiple clients is preferable. Ideally experience in the use of Sage/Xero and Sage Professional Payroll Software.
**The Key duties of this role will include**:
- Preparation of mainly monthly Payroll for clients.
- Preparing VAT returns, bookkeeping, and management accounts for clients.
- Assist with year end accounts preparation.
- Giving advice and assistance to clients relating to the setup and maintenance of cloud bookkeeping systems.
- Being a first point of contact for the clients.
- AAT qualified or Part qualified preferred.
- Preferably worked within an Accountancy practice previously.
- Payroll experience including dealing with all submissions.
- Knowledge of Payroll legislation including TAX, NI, SMP and SSP
- Autoenrolment Pension Knowledge.
- Use of cloud software, Sage, Xero etc as used by clients
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- A confidential and professional manner

**Salary**: £18,655.00-£26,000.00 per year
