**Reception Teaching Assistant | Immediate Start | Haringey**

**Ortus Recruitment** is currently on the lookout for a dedicated **Teaching Assistant to join our team,** serving one of our esteemed client schools nestled in the **lively community of Wood Green, situated within the London Borough of Haringey (N8)**. Boasting an array of local cafes, fine dining establishments, and excellent transportation connections, this vibrant area offers an enriching backdrop for both work and leisure.

**The Role**:
In this role, you will be entrusted with the vital task of **providing one-on-one support to a reception-aged child within our client school who is non-verbal and has Autism in a mainstream class.** **Currently, the pupil will be in only in the morning however, in the afternoon you will work elsewhere as required.**

Your primary responsibilities will involve **assisting the pupil with their speech and language development, as well as gradually acclimating them to the school routine**. Collaborating closely with the SENCO and the class teacher, you will play an integral role in fostering the pupil's overall growth and progress. **This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the life of a young learner while contributing to their educational journey.**

**Details about Early Years Role**:

- **Mon-Fri, 8:30am - 3:30pm**:

- No weekends
- Term time, Long-term, Full-time
- £425-£550 per week (PAYE)
- Potential to be placed on teacher training programme

**Responsibilities of Early Years Assistant**:

- Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans for young children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Encourage learning through play
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Observe and assess children's development and progress
- Collaborate with other educators to plan and coordinate activities and events
- Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, progress, and incidents
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns

**Reception Teaching Assistant | Immediate Start**

Pay: £425.00-£600.00 per week
