- Citizens Advice Tendring is looking for an enthusiastic person to support clients experiencing fuel poverty by providing tailored energy and debt advice/ casework, whilst supporting the existing advice service and outreach facilities. What we are looking for:

- Attainment of the Certificate in Generalist Advice or demonstrable equivalent competence attained from other settings, ideally independent advice provision.
- A strong understanding of social security benefits and the ability to identify and challenge unfair decisions.
- Excellent IT skills and experience of commonly used packages including Google Docs, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Express and the ability to use bespoke systems including online referral systems and the Citizens Advice “Casebook” system.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Flexible approach and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills.

The successful applicant will receive a tailored induction plan as a form of support at the start of this role. Please note that we are open to the possibility of remote/hybrid working and job share arrangements.
