Our Oilfield Services business provides intelligent, connected technologies to monitor and control our energy extraction assets. Our team provide technical expertise to meet our client expectation in Well Intervention requirement. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for quality assurance of products, services and manufacturing processes. This will include conformance in manufacturing, incoming goods control, product inspection, witness points and any other associated tasks.
As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for
- Inspecting and measuring mechanical components or assemblies to drawing standards and relevant documentation.
- Managing incoming products and the booking in process to ensure consistent quality and manufacture supply.
- Raising Non-Conformance Reports.
- Working to Lead and/or assist in the solution of non-conformance issues found in Goods inward.
- Operating inspection equipment (both manual and digital measuring equipment) for use within the manufacturing environment
- Completing, inspecting, and distributing all quality records to ensure 100% traceability.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and customers to provide technical guidance and troubleshooting knowledge.

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have the ability to check dimensional inspection and use of measuring equipment.
- Be able to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Have extensive previous experience with reviewing internal and external documentation.
- Be able to understand Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (G, D & T).
- Have previous knowledge of Hardness testing.
- Have working knowledge of NDE (LPI, MPI, PMI, UT & PMI).
- Be a promoter of continuous improvement.
- Have a positive, mature, can-do approach to work and to problem solving.
- Be able to demonstrate thoroughness and attention to detail.
