This is an exciting time to join Sandwell Metropolitan Brought Council Adult Social Care. We are currently restructuring our community social work teams to create town teams and a separate learning disability and autism team for Sandwell adults. Due to internal promotions we have several Advanced Practitioner posts to recruit to across Sandwell.

We are looking for 1.5 Advanced Practitioners to join our newly formed Adults Learning Disability and Autism social work teams in Sandwell.

We need enthusiastic, qualified Social Workers with Adults Social Work management experience, to bring your knowledge, skills, and attributes to lead a team of qualified and unqualified staff to make a difference to the lives of young people of Sandwell and to our customers with learning disabilities and autism.

You will need to be motivated and flexible with high professional standards and sound knowledge and experience of current legislation and practice including the Care Act 2014, Safeguarding Continuing Health care, Community DOLS/LPS and Mental Capacity Act 2005, and Mental Health Act.
