Sketchley Grange Hotel Spa in Hinckley, Leicestershire managed by the Focus Hotels Management Group. We are seeking to recruit a Night Porter to join our team.

**Role Responsibilities**

As Night Porter, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Provide exceptional guest service during the night shift ensuring guest satisfaction
- Conduct security checks, walks and maintain a safe working environment for guests and staff
- Auditing and reconciling daily financial transactions and banking
- Preparing financial reports for management
- Preparing guest billing and pre arrival checks
- Assisting guests with check in and departure, handling enquiries and requests
- Managing reservations
- Monitoring the hotel surveillance systems and addressing any security concerns
- Overseeing and responding to emergencies and maintaining incident reports
- Ensuring all areas of the hotel are clean and presentable
- Setting up of conference and event rooms as required to the company standards

**Key Requirements**

You should possess the following skills and qualifications:

- Customer service experience with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisation skills
- IT proficiency, including knowledge of front office and hotel management systems and standard office software
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Diligence and attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy during financial audit processes
- Previous experience in front office and hotels
- Previous experience in a similar role
