**Senior Product Owner**

**What you’ll do**

At TJX, the mission of the **Global IT Compliance, Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability (CCRS)** team is to enable TJX’s ”license to operate” via solutions that pioneer corporate responsibility, diligent regulatory adherence and risk management. We are embarking on a multiyear journey to invest, develop, implement solutions, and deliver value to our Legal, Risk & Compliance, Corporate Responsibility, and Internal Audit** **global business partners.

As a Senior Product Owner (PO) of a CCRS scrum team, you will lead the product direction through ownership of the product backlog and guidance of the dev team to develop strategic corporate responsibility and sustainability solutions. You’ll be a partner to business customers to ensure we are delivering value, and to the Product Management team to steer product roadmaps. Primary responsibilities include refinement of user stories with business users, detailed analysis to support solution options and definition of relevant acceptance criteria. You will work in a fast-paced environment which will present you with opportunities to think creatively, take initiative and develop as a leader while delivering business value.
- Responsible for defining team product backlog of user stories, including backlog prioritization, refinement, and creating of acceptance criteria
- Responsible for partnering with the Product Manager to understand customer needs, pain points, workflows, and priorities to translate into features and user stories
- Responsible for driving iteration (sprint) goals and content via prioritized user stories
- Responsible for providing product/domain knowledge that guides, informs, and offers insight into product enhancements, maintenance, and efficiencies
- Responsible for product decisions including functional and non-functional requirements (NFRs); accepts user stories and iteration increments
- Responsible for contributing to the vision, roadmap, and ROI
- Responsible for being the voice-of-the-customer for the team
- Responsible for ensuring risk and dependencies are identified and managed

**What you’ll need**

**To begin your career with us, we require the following**:

- Strong and relevant experience in an agile delivery framework, strategy Product Owner role
- Proven success working a highly collaborative, matrix environment, with a track record of measurable business impact.
- Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and mentorship skills
- Practiced consultative partnership with customers, with the ability to translate functional needs into requirements that drive value.
- Hands on experience participating in and leading SAFe events, such as sprint planning, release planning, and PI planning.
- Strong working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks
