This is a live-in position, so we're looking for an individual who enjoys spending all day with an elderly person and helping to care for that individual's basic needs.

The role will be split over 6 days, 3 days one, 1 day off and then 2 days on.

**Responsibilities**:

- Stay at client's home and perform duties related to the care of clients.
- Provide personal care for clients, including bathing, toileting, and dressing.
- Support with cooking, medication and housekeeping.
- Write detailed reports about client care; follow department guidelines for reporting and record keeping.
- Maintain accurate records of client visits through a client case management system.
- Monitor and update clients' medical information in computer system; enter data and document care provided.
- Communicate with other medical and nursing personnel on client care issues; refer patients to other health care providers if needed.

Criteria/Skills required

1. Right to work in the UK

2. Relevant health and social qualification

3. Previous experience as a carer/live in carer

4. Caring, compassionate, attentive, patient

5. Genuine interest in working with and caring for elderly and vulnerable individuals
