**Purpose**:
As a Research Executive you will be responsible for the hands-on delivery of our surveys to help understand the wants and needs of our 1.1B fans and followers; helping us to connect with them, improve fan experience, and to identify strategic opportunities for increasing reach and valuable engagement.
You will be supporting the Research and Insights Manager with the development of questionnaires, scripting in Qualtrics and support with data analysis + reporting. The work will involve collaborating with a multitude of other teams across the Club on a diverse range of projects.

**The Role**:

- The Research Executive will be responsible for all surveys within Qualtrics and play an active hands-on role through these phases of research:

- Working with the Research & Insights Manager to develop the questionnaire to fulfil a brief
- Own the scripting process in Qualtrics including routing and logic implementation
- Implement supplier provided translations for multiple languages
- Distribute the survey and manage quota requirements
- Conduct preliminary analysis to inform data quality checks and data cleaning
- Prepare an overview summary of key results in a visual way
- In addition to the core remit above, the following opportunities will also be available to aid the development of the Research Executive:

- Join project kick-off meetings and listen-in to how fan research is supporting the Club’s strategic projects
- Continually develop analytics capabilities to uncover the meaningful and actionable insights that need to be uncovered within the large volume of data
- Assist with the reporting of research projects, by contributing to slide development and appropriate commentary to clearly articulate the most meaningful outcomes
- Observe presentations of the reports and support with the follow-ups
- Collaboration opportunities will exist with many different stakeholders, teams and departments:

- With the wider Analytics team to create rounded insights combining both research and analytical data
- Liaise with the Alliances department

**The Person**:

- Proficient grasp of survey routing, logic, and flow.
- Intermediate capabilities in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with formulas
- Good data visualisation and reporting capabilities
- Proven experience in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
- Qualtrics (preferred), Survey Monkey, Jotform, SurveySparrow or similar.
- Familiarity with market research software and statistical analysis tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Positive and proactive attitude with a desire to learn

**Desirable**
- Experience with any of the following analytics tools: Q, Displayr, SPSS or similar
- Any form of coding experience in any language, e.g. R, Python, SQL, C++ etc.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel experience: pivot tables, regression and/or slicers
