**We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Design/Project Engineer to join our Electrical Design Team during a very exciting time.**

**Salary**:
£14.23 per hour basic 36 hours per week, all hours over 36 paid at time and half.
Plus shift allowance of £81.00 per week.

The Employer does not guarantee that overtime will be available to you. Any overtime worked must receive prior authorisation from your Line Manager and, where so authorised, shall be paid at the following rates:

- All hours in excess of 36 hours per week but less than 46 per week: 1.5 x ordinary hourly rate
- Hours in excess of 46 hours per week: 2 x ordinary hourly rate

**The Role**:
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following:

- Experience of programming, setting and operating Fanuc and Heidenhain systems
- Experience in light to medium milling
- Experience in Heavy milling would be advantageous
- Ability to read, understand and correctly interpret Engineering Drawings
- Ability to change tool inserts and re-set/alter offsets to achieve drawing specifications and tolerances
- Have high levels of concentration and focus to achieve production targets and scheduled customer deadlines
- Be able to follow written works instructions, safe working practices and maintain a safe and tidy work area at all times
- Be able to monitor your own Quality and Productivity with a continuous improvement mind set
- Be able to safely and efficiently prove out both new and proven programs/set ups, with absolute minimum scrap/waste.
- Be able to work as part of our team or on their own initiative.
