Our Quality Assurance department are key to making sure the products we make and distribute are of the highest standard and that all our departments are working in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices. Due to our continuous growth, we are looking to appoint a **Validation Officer **to the team.

**As a Validation Officer your responsibilities will include, although not limited to**:

- To assist with validation activities, in order to ensure regulatory compliance with GMP and GDP and internal policies and procedures.
- Assist the Validation Manager with the Site Validation Master Plan (SVMP) activities to ensure continual compliance, by working with multi-disciplinary teams across site
- Ensure that the manufacturing facilities (aseptic and non-sterile), process, equipment and computer systems are validated in full compliance with GMP, GDP and regulatory requirements so as to meet the stipulated product quality, patient safety & data integrity standards in line with established specifications or requirements of the organisation
- To assist with the introduction of new equipment, processes and systems through the creation of technical documentation including, but not limited to VP, URS, IQ, OQ and PQ
- Ensure all stages of the validation lifecycle, Annex 11 and Annex 15 are met with new and existing equipment, processes and computer systems
- Work closely with the Validation Manager and Operations to develop and maintain a Cleaning Validation / Verification package for all product contact equipment and manage the ‘live’ cleaning validation matrix
- Act as author or validation technical reviewer of validation documents
- Support the operational teams on existing and future validation projects
- Ensure that all validation projects are performed in line with the documentation requirements of the validation system, including quality risk management principles
- To provide consistent validation advice to key stakeholders
- Produce data and report on performance, measuring against set key performance indicator
- Ensure regulatory changes which have an impact to validation are appropriately assessed for their impact on the business

**Requirements for role**:

- Experience of working in pharmaceutical/ healthcare / life sciences industry essential
- Scientific / Engineering Degree Qualification (or equivalent) is highly desirable although not essential depending on experience.
- Experience of operating in a similar validation role is essential.
- Experience of Process Validation (PV), Cleaning Validation (CV) and Analytical Method Validation (AMV) is essential.
- Demonstrate experience of working autonomously and making decisions
- Strong, up to date knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Distribution Practices
- Highly computer literate, experience operating with all Microsoft Office software.

Hours of work for this role are 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday
