General Joinery

Gilling Old Mill Cottages are looking for a reliable General Joinery and Handyman to undertake upkeep and repair tasks to the interior including fittings and equipment and the exterior of 5-star cottages and barns at the company premises. We'll rely on you to keep our facilities in perfect condition by doing various odd jobs.

You should be able to demonstrate a useful degree of all round practical knowledge, must be well organized with strong general repair skills and a keen eye for detail.

Our team take pride in delivering exceptional guest experience and our guest accomodation needs to be kept in tip top condition.

If you enjoy variety within your work and managing a varied workload then this could well be the role for you, as no two days are the same.

Previous maintenance and woodworking experience is essential. Other role experience could include, Handyman, Maintenance Engineer, Joiner. Desirable skills would include, property maintenance & repair, machinery maintenance, plumbing / electrics would be advantageous, but not essential.

Annual Salary - £26k - £28k, dependant on experience.
