Dinner Lady

Multi-Trades Recruitment are looking for a **Dinner Lady/Catering Assistant** to work with a school in **Kidderminster. DY11 7RR.**

**_Enhanced DBS Certificate Is Required. _**

**About The Job**:

- Monday-Friday
- 10:30-13:30
- £11.72-£12.78 Per Hour

As a Catering Assistant, you will demonstrate the highest standards in cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene. You will cook and serve pre-prepared meals using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards and ensuring that food is at the correct temperature. You will also be required to prepare some additional food/snacks on a daily basis.

You will keep the kitchen and food areas clean and tidy and ensure food and supply items are stored correctly

You should be passionate about delivering an efficient service to our students whilst ensuring we maintain great customer service and high food safety standards.

**About You**:

- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (desirable but training will be provided).
- A reasonable level of fitness - the role requires long periods of standing.
- Personal direct experience and/or knowledge of disability and disability issues will be an advantage.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Level 2 Food Hygiene & Safety.
- Working knowledge of health and safety legislation (including COSHH regulations, manual handling, and food hygiene procedures) and requirements in relation to food preparation.
- Knowledge of Natasha’s Law.
- Good standards of literacy, numeracy, written and verbal communication.
- Committed to promoting the health, welfare and safeguarding of children and young adults.
