An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Processing Team Leader, at our Bristol Hub. The role is 40 hours per week over 7 days. However, it is essential applicants are flexible to work outside of the normal contracted hours when required.

**JOB OVERVIEW**:
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor -Processing as Team Leader you will be responsible for ensuring the effective running of the Processing operational function.

**MAIN DUTIES**
- Ensure all Sortation work is processed within agreed customer SLA’s.
- Make sure Mail is dispatched correctly to agreed timescales.
- Ensure all required paperwork is completed and provided to the appropriate internal and external parties.
- Provide management information as agreed in the correct format and to agreed timescales.
- Act as the point of contact for staff, escalating issues to the supervisor as required.
- Liaise with the operation Supervisors and Hub Manager as required for relevant operational and statistical information on priorities of work /collection and deliveries for the day.
- Direct the work of team members to achieve, maintain quality and productivity levels.
- Maintain records and review documents prepared by the team.
- Monitor performance of team members.
- Perform the duties of a warehouse operative where this is required.
- Be responsible for H&S compliance for the team. Report any breaches of Health & Safety regulations and incidents/accidents.
- Communicate work practices, procedures and methods to team members, as required.
- Conduct induction and training for new team members as required.
- Conduct team communication sessions (team briefs).
- Responsible for the tidiness of the work area for the team.

**ABOUT YOU**:
The successful applicant should be a self-starter who is highly organised, with a proactive approach and a ‘can do’ attitude to problem solving. Experienced in the Down Stream Access environment would be advantageous however high attention to detail is a must. They will possess high levels of initiative, energy and have passion and dedication for completing tasks to the highest standards. They must be able to work effectively as an individual, as well as part of the warehouse team. They will have strong communication skills and be competent in English & Maths. They must also have IT skills and be able to utilize Microsoft Excel proficiently. If you enjoy being part of a fast-paced, friendly working environment, this role is for you
