**Front of House Team Member**

**As a Front of House team member for Thyme & Tides Firsdown you will be the face of the company delivering excellent standards of customer service and working as part of the team in our exciting new deli/café.**

**Your duties will include**:

- Greeting & assisting customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner.
- Stock replenishment/merchandising/housekeeping, ensuring that items are attractively displayed, and the shop is well maintained.
- Manual lifting. This includes moving stock to replenishing the shelves from the back stores to the front.
- Maintaining good product knowledge in order that accurate advice can be given to customers (changing lines, seasonal products, and suppliers).
- Support with checkout (till) operation as required
- Other duties within the department and wider store as required

**Till operation**:

- Scanning & weighing relevant products
- Checking customers’ ages for restrictions on items like alcohol
- Packing and wrapping purchases
- Taking payments and processing coupons / vouchers

**Salary**: £8.00-£12.00 per hour
