Accommodation Advisor

**Temporary Accommodation Advisor Immediately Required**

**Duration**: 6 Months initially

**Location**: Warwickshire

**Hours**: 37.5 hours per week

**Pay Rate**: £16.50 via Umbrella per hour

An opening has arisen for a Temporary Accommodation Advisor within a Local Authority in Warwickshire. This position provide an excellent, customer focussed service which provides good quality interim accommodation for those that the Council has a duty toprovide in order to discharge the Council’s legal obligations to people threatened with or experiencing homelessness and those in housing need
- Support the Housing Options Officers and assistants in placing and managing homeless households in the Councils’ interim accommodation including sign ups and providing the household with keys/fobs and to reinforce information contained within the licenceagreement
- Provide clear written reports concerning any unacceptable and anti-social behaviour by the household or visitor’s behaviour whilst in the accommodation to the relevant Housing Option officer
- Serve any warning letters, Notice to Quit or any other correspondence at the direction of the Housing Option Officers and complete Statement of Service documents
- Attend lock changes when required and attendance in the event of a request by police
- Identify any improvement to the Housing Advice & Allocations Team so that the highest standards of service delivery are achieved
- Embrace any new initiatives to improve the service provided by the Housing Advice & Allocations Team
- Previous experience working in this position
- Drive with access to a vehicle
