Our Own Label team are now looking for an experienced Assistant Buyer to join us here at Harrods.

**About the Role**

This role is integral to the Buying Cycle, ensuring efficient and accurate administration while developing our collection. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, contributing to sales targets, managing critical paths, and representing Harrods with top-tier suppliers.

Your key responsibilities are as follows:

- Run sales reports, analyse data, and prepare responses to trading activities.
- Contribute to P&L reporting and respond quickly to Open To Buy spend.
- Keep lessons learned and strategies up to date.
- Conduct regular competitor shops and market analysis.
- Assist in all stages from briefing to launch, ensuring stakeholder accountability.
- Manage supplier documents, sample tracking, and product quality.
- Brief Planograms to VM Implementation team and ensure accuracy on the shop floor and online.
- Coordinate vendor training and range presentations.
- Maintain weekly communication with key suppliers and manage the critical path for product development.
- Oversee the Buyers Administration Assistant, ensuring task efficiency and development.

**About You**

You will be a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual with excellent PC literacy, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with Illustrator and SAP as a plus. You’ll also demonstrate a strong service focus, adeptly handling interactions with both internal and external stakeholders. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a naturally tenacious attitude, are essential. Moreover, you should exhibit excellent time-management skills, the ability to multi-task effectively, and a readiness to adapt to dynamic priorities.
