We are looking for an HGV Maintenance Apprentice to join our busy Engineering team at our Vehicle Maintenance Unit (VMU) based at Thatcham.

**The opportunity**:
You will work within a friendly and experienced team carrying out all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repairs on a large fleet of commercial vehicles and trailers including breakdowns and recovery. Some key responsibilities include:

- Support the Engineering team with preparing vehicles for MOT, service repairs and defects
- Keep tools and equipment in a clean and working condition
- Maintain safety standards at all times and use protective equipment provided
- 5 GCSE’s including a C/4 in Maths and English
- Problem solving skills
- The drive and passion for continual learning whilst gaining on-the-job experience

**Where will you study?**

We have partnered with local colleges to deliver the Level 3 Heavy vehicle service and maintenance technician. Following successful completion of your apprenticeship, you will become a qualified Site Engineer with the opportunity to progress and develop your career in a business that values talent; develops people to fulfil their full potential; has clear career paths and succession pipelines.
