Scope of the role
The role of the bench joiner is an integral part of the Fabrication team at Echo House. The role is responsible for bringing to life bespoke designs creating by the Technical Design team, using various materials such as MDF, Plywood, timber, stainless steel, acrylic, and aluminium and laminate.
**MAIN DUTIES**:
- To work with the Technical Design team to build bespoke window displays, pops ups etc for our high end international clients.
- To be able to work from technical drawings and component construction.
- To work with the team to build large quantities of stockers.
- To work with different materials including laminate, MDF, Plywood, timber, stainless steel, acrylic, and aluminium.
- To be able to work with various hand tools and machinery including C&C, and dimension saws.
- Knowledge of carcass and cabinet construction.
- To work with the installation team from time to time in installing, and deriging displays and popups in and out of office hours at varies department stores in the UK and Europe.
- Ensuring that all tools are put away at the end of each working day.
- Ensuring that all working areas and machining apparatus remain dust free.
**CORE KNOWLEDGE BASE**
- NVQ level 3 in site carpentry and architectural joinery or equivalent.
- Knowledge of C&C machine (desirable)
- Excellent knowledge and use of dimensions saw.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £35,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
