Warehouse Assistant

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Assistant to join our retail team at Brechin Castle Centre. The position is 30 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days.

Hours will be Tuesday to Thursday 9am to 3.30pm, Friday and Saturday 8am to 4pm

To be successful in this role, you will be expected to:

- Be able to check deliveries quickly and accurately
- Ensure all deliveries are recorded
- Follow company procedures at all times and work in safe manner
- Ensure shortages are recorded
- Ensure all stock is priced accurately and handled with care at all times
- Have a positive ‘can do’ attitude
- Have a willingness to learn and develop within the company
- Have had previous warehouse experience and a fork lift qualification would be desirable but not essential

Duties will include:

- Accepting and signing for incoming deliveries.
- Checking off deliveries and accurately recording any discrepancies.
- Accurately pricing stock.
- Stock rotation and replenishment.
- Ensuring the warehouse is kept in a safe and tidy condition at all times.
- Ensuring that all goods stored in the warehouse are done so neatly and securely.
- Assisting with movement and placement of shop fittings and internal stock/stands.
- Maintaining warehouse standards to ensure stock can be identified and easily located.

The expectation for this position is to be really focused on standards.
