**Print Finisher - Nightshift**

**Location**: Ongar, Essex

**Salary**: Dependent on Experience

**Shifts**: 40 hours per week **NIGHTSHIFT**Monday-Thursday 6pm-6.30am. The shift then changes every two weeks to Thursday-Saturday.

An opportunity to work for one of the leading label suppliers, They produce custom labels of all shapes and sizes to a wide range of customers across the UK.

**Job Overview**: Operating finishing machinery to convert materials to finished goods such as slitter/rewinders, Digicon Lite for die cutting, waste stripping, varnishing and laminating.

**Responsibilities and Duties for the role**:

- Operating finishing machines to rewind semi-finished goods to finished reels.
- Good eye for detail required to inspect quality of labels and produce jobs to the instructions provided.
- Strong IT skills required to operate using management information system.
- Ad hoc tasks: packing and other finishing tasks.
- Job may also require assisting in other areas of production.

**Requirements**:

- Have previous Print Finishing experience
- Experience using Rewinders or Slitting machines prefferred
- Experienced working within the Print or Packaging industry
- Have excellent attention to detail and be experienced working in a fast-paced production environment
- Expectation to be trained to run other machines also.
- Must strive to meet the estimated times of each job when possible.
- Must Strive to meet a number of non-conformances: quality defects with jobs that have been printed by yourself.
- Percentage of waste on jobs that you have run: we expect you to strive for 10% or less overall
