Our community-based support care workers provide care to our service users within their own homes to help them remain as independent as possible. The role of a care assistant is extremely rewarding and fulfilling, with many opportunities to develop within your career at Abbots Care Dorset including paid Diplomas and career progression.

Experience isn’t always necessary as we have a comprehensive training and Induction course and shadow with you until you are ready.

The Role of a community care assistant includes:

- Providing personal care including administering of medication
- Supporting our service users with social activities
- Supporting with domestic tasks within their homes
- Offering companionship to our service users

What Abbots Care Dorset can offer you:

- Hourly rate of** £12.82 - guaranteed hours**:

- Fantastic rates of pay with **paid mileage of 45 pence (Highest in the area)**:

- Flexible hours and working patterns
- Full and part time hours available between 7am - 10pm
- **Guaranteed hours whether we give you care calls or not**:

- Full Inhouse **paid **training and DBS
- Refer a friend scheme of **£400.00 per referral**:

- Paid ongoing development and Diplomas
- Access to our brand-new Care Worker Wellbeing App and Rewards.

Our employee’s mental health and wellbeing is important to us and with the launch of our new wellbeing app gives us an opportunity to connect with our carers and discuss any issues they may been experiencing.

We also offer flexibility within our roles to cater to each employee's needs, whether that be to work around family time or other commitments. Employees have the option of contracts up to 40hrs with salaries of £26,665.60 per annum depending on their availability.

Due to the nature of the role and being community based in and around Dorset you will need to have a full driving license and access to your own vehicle, as well the right to work in the UK.
