The Greater Manchester Resilience Hub is a unique, all age, mental health coordination service established after the Manchester Arena Attack on 22nd May 2017. The Greater Manchester Resilience Hub has developed a range of service offers, including the co-ordination/support of the COVID-19 psychosocial offer for essential frontline keyworkers, within Greater Manchester

**As a Recovery Worker in the hub, the post holder will**:
1. support targeted individuals across the lifespan who may be experiencing mental health difficulties following following events/incidents that the Greater Manchester Resilience Hub are commissioned to respond to.;
2. liaise with other services and/or health care professionals to support individuals in accessing appropriate services in their local area.
The post holder will work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and should be committed to equal opportunities.

The service is hosted by Pennine Care NHS FT with staff seconded in from a range of partner organisations.

Clinical

Under the clinical supervision of a qualified clinician, and appropriate to level of knowledge, experience and training:
1. Support individuals and/or their families over the telephone and face to face using clinical information gathering to assess client needs for appropriate services and therapeutic intervention in their local area.
2. To deliver psychological interventions through 1:1 and/or group sessions, to adults and young people with trauma related mental health needs.
3. Support the development and facilitation of events delivered by the hub which provide psychosocial support for individuals impacted by events/incidents that the Greater Manchester Resilience Hub are supporting.. Collating and reporting feedback from events for service development.
4. Undertake client-centred discussions which identify areas where the person wishes to see change and/or recovery and make an accurate assessment of risk to self and others
5. Make decisions on suitability of referrals to local services following information gathering with client and/or other professionals involved in their care.
6. Provide a range of information about primary, secondary and third sector services where appropriate to clients.
7. Provide information on evidence based psychological treatments and what these entail to ensure the client is able to make a fully informed decision regarding their recovery.
8. Support and involve family members and others in treatment as necessary.
9. Adhere to agreed clinical involvement relating to clients complexity and level of required support; seeking supervision from senior clinicians when necessary.
10. Keep coherent records of all clinical activity in line with service protocols and use these records and clinical information in clinical decision making.
11. Work closely with other members of the team ensuring appropriate case management through psychological formulation.
12. Operate at all times from an inclusive values base which promotes recovery and recognises and respects diversity.
13. To contribute to service audit at regular intervals, ensuring data collection and clinical records are accurate.
