**Senior Hydrogeologist - Shrewsbury**

My client, a UK based established and dynamic consultancy, based in Shrewsbury involved with a wide range of water-related projects operating nationally are looking for a Senior Hydrogeologist to provide services to the minerals, waste, agricultural, housingand environmental sectors, amongst others on interesting projects across the UK.

Applicants are required to have BSc or MSc in Hydrogeology and have experience working for an Environmental Consultancy completing Hydrogeological Risk Assessments, Ground Water Monitoring and experience working on Geothermal or De-watering Projects

**You will be required to have**:
Detailed knowledge of groundwater issues,able to produce both quantitative and qualitative assessments, to a very high standard with minimum supervision.

Great communication skills are a must as you will need to be able to build strong working relationships with your colleagues, clients and regulators.

Experience with client liaison and a knowledge of regulators throughout the UK, including the Environment Agency/Natural resources Wales/SEPA is highly desirable.

Lead delivery of projects covering all aspects of water resources such as borehole design, pumping test analysis and groundwater flow modelling.

Excellent technical understanding of hydrogeology.

Complete Water Quality Assessments

Mentoring team members, providing support when needed.

Preparing bids and contract documents.

Ensure projects are delivered to time and budget and comply with company standards and environmental legislation's.

Manage projects.

Good working knowledge of EA, NRW, SEPA and LLFA requirements

Complete Hydrogeological Risk Assessments, Water Resource and Impact Assessments, Surface Water Management plans, Groundwater Modelling using Modlfow and monitoring.

The role will require availability for occasional travel across the UK and potentially overseas.
Full clean driving licence
