Homeownership Officer 6 months contract - F/T or P/T hours will be considered

Salary package: £34,977 p/a+ Excellent Benefits (pro rata for P/T)

Base location: High Wycombe 2 days & remote for remainder of week

About the role: Working within the Homeownership team, as part of the wider Customer directorate department. Providing advice to colleagues on leasehold and freehold matters, you will act as the key in-house expert on Leasehold management. You will be managingthe relationships we have with homeowners, part of which is making sure their needs and expectations are understood within the business.

Your remit will involve:

- Provide reasonable administrative function on the conveyancing of 100% Resales enquiries within set timescales
- Provide effective management of legal queries
- Work closely with internal departments on upcoming procurement of contracts and planned works, ensuring timely and accurate Section 20 consultation is carried out in line with legislative requirements, including preparation of Section 20 Notices.
- Administering the Lease Extension process.

You will also be actively working to ensure effective customer involvement channels and opportunities are available, promoted and delivered to allow residents to feed into the delivery of our services, whilst also working collaboratively with the wider business.
- A good understanding of leases/previous leasehold management experience
- Competent in the use of IT including Microsoft Office
- Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with residents, partners and contractors, especially in difficult situations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to adapt style and explain complex information to different audiences
- Well organised, diligent, accurate with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to take personal responsibility for assessing situations, making decisions and concluding enquiries
