Vehicle Maintenance Operative

**Hours of work: 30 hours per week**

**5 days out of 6 Monday -Saturday**

**1pm-7pm, working 1 in 2 Saturdays**

**Rate of pay - £10.50 per hour**

**The role**

We are currently seeking to recruit a Vehicle Maintenance Operative to join our team.

As a Vehicle Maintenance Operative you will ensure our fleet is clean, washed and topped up with ad blue allowing us to provide the best service to our customers.

**Vehicle Maintenance Operative Main Duties**
- Lorry shunting in line with health & safety procedures
- Refuelling lorries and topping up Ad Blue
- Completion of paperwork accurately and efficiently
- General maintenance duties
- Adhering to the company’s health & safety procedures
- Report any incidents or environmental concerns to your manager

**Essential Criteria**
- Experience of driving large machinery
- Previous experience in a similar environment
- A basic understanding of lorry maintenance, (refuelling, ad blue, water).
- Must be flexible and have a ‘can do’ attitude
- Highly motivated individual who can work well on their own initiative but also works well as part of a small team
- Full UK clean driving licence

**Desirable**
- Cat C driving license
- Shunter licence
- Counterbalance license
