**Campus Lead for English and Maths - St. Austell - Salary - £38,018.00 per annum - Hours per week: 37 - Weeks per year: 52 - Closing Date: 30 June 2023 - Interview Date: w/c 3 July 2023**

Based at our St. Austell campus, we are looking for an experienced individual to undertake the role of Campus Lead for English and Maths to be responsible for the quality of education for English and Maths across the campus. The role also involves supporting the Group Head of English and Maths on the development and delivery of inspiring, responsive and innovative teaching, learning and assessment.

Applicants must have:

- A record of excellence as a teacher of English/Maths.
- Experience of leading a team or managing an aspect of the English/Maths curriculum.
- Sound knowledge of both English and Maths Functional skills and GCSE Curriculum.
- Experienced of working to external examination specifications, internal verification and quality assurance.
- Detailed understanding of key performance indicators including compliance, condition of funding attendance, retention and achievement.

Applicants must also:

- Hold a recognised degree or further management qualification.
- Hold a teaching qualification e.g. PGCE or Certificate of Education.
- Hold specialism in either English or Maths as well as a minimum qualification at level 2 in both.
