There is an outstanding opportunity for a SHEQ Advisor to join a major civil engineering contractor in Hampshire. The role will be site based on a £8m ground works scheme.

The main function of the role is to support the operational team with all health, safety, environmental and well-being matters throughout construction of the works.

Duties will include:

- Assist the operational team to ensure the required training is delivered
- Develop health, safety, and environmental campaigns to promote improvements across the projects
- Control and organise the health and safety documentation
- Assist the Health and Safety Director to develop effective solutions.
- Assist in producing health and safety plans, procedures that are in-line with the company and clients specifications.
- Support the site teams to ensure compliance with all requirements stipulated in the construction plans.
- Support investigations of close call, near miss and other site incidents
- Provide reports, presentations, and information to the operations team
