Principal IT are working with one of the UK’s biggest and more successful food manufacturers on a new and exciting SAP Analyst role. The business supplies to retail, food service and manufacturing customers across the UK, as well as export customers globally.Having full production chain visibility, their products are eaten by millions of consumers every year.

They are a well-established company with a headcount of approximately 4,000 employees and are showing no signs of slowing down.

**Job Purpose**

Working under the direction of the group business systems manager delivering SAP implementations, a role has become available for a Group SAP Business Analyst, specifically to work on SAP implementations across the group. The role will involve working aspart of the SAP implementation team developing and rolling out the SAP system across multiple sites within the Group, working closely with all sites and external parties.

**Key accountabilities**

The core tasks are analysing current business processes, determining new processes, SAP design and configuration and the roll out of and ongoing support of the system.
The main deliverables are to assist with design, specification, build, test and go live of the required SAP solution at each site.

- Ensuring that the business and user community requirements are met (using appropriate configuration, consulting, and communication skills)
- Preparing and delivering to detailed work plans and schedules.
- Maintaining close working relationships with other team members and sub-contractors
- Performing assigned tasks according to specifications
- Developing resolutions to issues

- Obtaining assistance in solving problems in a timely and expedient manner

**Desirable skills and experience**:

- SAP configuration and implementation experience gained on a broad range of support engagements or projects
