Fabrication Inspector

Adept are working with a leading manufacturing company dedicated to delivering precision-engineered solutions to their clients. With a commitment to excellence and innovation, they specialise in manufacturing high-quality components for various industries. As they continue to grow, we are seeking a time served Fabrication Inspector to join their team in Ripley.

Their Fabrication department specialise in producing bespoke fabrications for a diverse range of industries including defence, nuclear, sub-sea, aero, and process industries.

**Shifts: Monday to Thursday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and Friday from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM.**

**Pay: £15.00 - £17.00**
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings.
- Previous experience in a quality inspection environment is essential.
- Conduct thorough inspections of fabrications according to engineering drawings, ensuring adherence to specifications.
- Experience working with various materials such as mild steel, stainless steel, Inconel, and aluminium.
- Familiarity with working to tight tolerances down to 0.1mm.
- Inspect brought-in materials prior to fabrication and finished goods to paint and coating standards.
- Understanding of process traceability is advantageous.
- Availability to work standard hours.
- Willingness to work overtime as required.
- Occasional on-site work at customer locations may be necessary.
