As the main point of contact for all our colleagues at Flair, you will take ownership of the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring everyone is paid on time every four weeks, overseeing HMRC compliance, managing PAYE regulations, and handling National Insurance contributions.
Bringing your attention to detail into this role will be a vital ingredient in making this process seamless and error-free.
**What you can bring**:
- As an excellent communicator, you are serving as the point of contact for all colleagues and liaising with external parties regarding payroll.
- An analytical mindset, ensuring meticulous scrutiny of financial data, swift issue resolution, and compliance with evolving regulations.
- Possess a flexible attitude and approach handling time and attendance data from different departments.
- Offering accuracy and excellent attention to detail in processing pay, completing journals, and reconciliations within our accounting software reflects a commitment to precision.
**Your Job**:
- Manage 4-weekly payroll using in-house software.
- Coordinate with managers to process the hours worked by our colleagues.
- Maintain accurate colleague information with assistance from HR.
- Calculate shift payments, overtime, parental pay, SSP, DEA, etc.
- Prepare BACS payments.
- Ensure precise HMRC submissions, addressing and PAYE issues should they arise.
- Look after pension administration i.e. contributions, auto enrolment, regulator declarations etc.
- Analyse and report on payroll data.
- Support the finance team by completing journals and reconciliations.
**Key Skills**:
- Experience of end-to-end payroll process.
- Knowledge and understanding of pension schemes.
- Time Management
- Experience of high-volume payroll of at least 150+ colleagues
- Multitasker and highly organised.
- Exposure to non-UK payroll processing.

**Contract**: Full Time, Permanent, 37.50 hours per week
**Hybrid working**: While you’re finding your feet at Flair, you will spend most of your days in the office where we work the core hours of 09:30 - 15:30 Monday - Friday with flexible start/finish times according to your schedule and location needs.
