Frailty Virtual Ward Service Hours 7 days a week, 8am - 8pm

An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join the new South East Essex Frailty Virtual Ward service, which has recently commenced. These important posts will work alongside a team of Consultant Geriatricians, Community Nurses, Therapists, and Health Care Assistants in the provision of the Frailty Virtual Ward working in the community, in the patient’s own home. You will be part of a high profile service to help alleviate current pressures in the NHS. The service will reduce demand for inpatient beds and on Emergency Departments and optimise patient experience by enabling them to receive safe clinical specialist care in the comfort of their own home.

What is Staff Bank?

Our EPUT NHS staff bank is an entity managed by the trust that hires clinical and non-clinical healthcare professionals to take on shifts at our trust hospitals and community settings. Here at EPUT we maintain our own bank of specialist staff to ensure that we are able offer safe and effective care at all times.

All our permanent staff are automatically enrolled onto the staff bank however this does not mean you have to work any additional shifts, but the option is there for you if you wish.
