**About the Role**

A day in the life of our Security Officersit demands high levels of energy in order to keep up. They need consistency, even though the days are never alike; and creativity to tackle daily adventures. Listing all of the tasks that our Security Officers accomplish would be lengthy but the list below is essential to know.

**Guest Welcoming**: Be the first point of contact for guests arriving at the club, warmly welcoming them with a friendly and courteous demeanour. Provide a positive first impression that reflects the clubs commitment to exceptional customer service.

**Security Protocols**: Enforce access control procedures, ensuring only authorised personnel and guests enter the premises. Monitor surveillance systems and patrol the Front of House area to detect and prevent potential security breaches.

**Customer Service Excellence**: Interact with guests and visitors in a professional and helpful manner, assisting them with inquiries, directions, and any other needs they may have. Display a proactive and enthusiastic approach to customer service, anticipating and addressing guest requirements.

**Emergency Response**: Act calmly and efficiently during emergency situations, including evacuations, medical incidents, and other critical events. Follow established procedures and provide support to guests and staff as needed.

**Conflict Resolution**: Demonstrate exceptional conflict resolution skills when handling difficult situations or guest complaints, always striving to find amicable resolutions that uphold the clubs reputation for exceptional customer service.

**Collaboration**: Work closely with the Clubs Front Desk and Reception teams to ensure a seamless experience for guests. Communicate effectively with other departments to address security concerns and maintain a safe environment.

**Observation and Reporting**: Maintain keen observation skills to identify suspicious or unusual activities. Report incidents promptly to supervisors and ensure accurate and detailed documentation of all security-related matters.

**Professionalism and Appearance**: Uphold a polished and immaculate appearance, wearing the designated security uniform in a neat and presentable manner. Exhibit professionalism and integrity at all times while adhering to the clubs policies and standards.

**Continuous Improvement**: Participate in training sessions to enhance security knowledge and customer service skills. Stay updated with industry best practices and contribute ideas for improving security measures and guest experiences.

**Responsibilities**:

- Front line Security duties including all visitor and contractor controls
- Operation of the front of house reception and guest services
- To take responsibility for the presentation, cleanliness and safety of all the areas of the premises.
- To interact with all building users, visitors and colleagues in a courteous, professional and helpful manner.
- To ensure that any breaches of security or damage is reported to the relevant authorities.
- Daily completion of site report, to relate repairs and issues raised by occupiers, visitors or colleagues.
- To ensure the building frontage is kept clean and tidy.
- To record all site issues as they arise and recording updates and job completion
- A diary of expected visitors
- Planned visits/permissions given to contractors.
- All contractors must have the correct authority to carry out repairs/works before commencement.
- Follow company / client procedure and guidelines for Health and Safety in relation to compliance
- Ad hoc duties reasonably requested by Management
- Requirements to regularly walk the perimeter, grounds and hallways of the hotel.

**Requirements**:

- Possession of valid Door Supervision SIA license
- Valid First Aid at Work certificate
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of business, internal and external
- Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative and dynamically within a tea
- Previous experience working in a similar role, within a hotel or similar environment
