Nursery Apprentice

Colourbox Nursery is small family nursery based Nunhead in Peckham. We provide exceptional care and education to children and their families and we pride ourselves in helping children achieve their full potentials. We have a opportunity for a enthusiastic nursery apprentice to join our friendly team.

Colourbox Nursery will support you to start your Level 2/3 training in house and be assessed by a tutor from a private training company. You will work towards your childcare qualifications and will have an assigned assessor who will liaise with you regularly and set all your training and work assignments to enable you achieve the qualification. This will take approximately 18 months to complete.
- Support the children
- Sleeping and playing safely with the children
- Work cooperatively with other staff members

We are pleased to offer above the National Minimum Apprentice Wage as well as offering other benefits. You will gain experience in all areas of day to day nursery life and embrace a sound knowledge of current good childcare practices, to start a fulfilling career.

You will have the opportunity to work alongside qualified staff across all areas of the nursery age range of 3 months-5 years, to develop your practical skills in caring for young children under the overall guidance of the Nursery Manager and a mentor within the setting.

The hours are Monday-Friday 40 hour week.

**Salary**: From £240.00 per week

- A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
