**About the Role**

Moss Electrical Co. Ltd is one of the largest independent electrical companies in the UK with multiple branches, Moss Dartford is seeking a dedicated and organized Purchase Ledger Reconciliation Clerk to join our team on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to our finance department and potentially secure a full-time role at the end of the contract period.

**Main Duties**
- Prepare month-end statements and reconciliations of supplier statements for 3 branches, involving approximately 300 suppliers monthly.
- Organize and arrange invoices, credit, and debit notes in proper order for the Managing Director's approval.
- Create month-end BACS spreadsheets to align with the Finance Director's spreadsheet.
- Accurately allocate payments to respective ledgers and execute month-end BACS payments as per MD's instructions.
- Maintain meticulous records of invoices, credit, and debit notes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Undertake general administrative duties, including answering telephone calls and addressing supplier inquiries and queries.
- Proactively chase debit notes for credit notes and prepare proforma payments.
- Assist in opening new supplier accounts and maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure smooth operations and accurate financial data.

**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
