**Senior Low Carbon Consultant**

**Location**: Nationwide - This is a remote working role, with travel to a Kier office as required (offices in either Maple Cross, Lincoln, or Liverpool)

**Contract**: Permanent - flexible and part-time hours available if desired, just let us know

**Responsibilities**

As a Senior Low Carbon Consultant, you’ll be working within the Carbon Advisory team, supporting them in continuing to develop our Sustainability and Low Carbon Consultancy.

Your day to day will include:

- Supporting the Design & Business Services teams and wider construction teams
- Support the development of low carbon strategies and solutions.
- To be able to understand requirements, from various sources of technical information available, and provide solutions to teams.
- To have the ability to communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders on low carbon solutions.
- To contribute to the development the Group’s Sustainability and Low Carbon strategy and policies

**What are we looking for?**

This role of Senior Low Carbon Consultant is great for you if:

- Interface with internal and external stakeholders to understand their requirements and support the preparation of technical and fee proposals that address customer needs.
- Support multidisciplinary design and construction teams to drive decisions across the project lifecycle to promote low carbon buildings.
- Experience in embodied carbon modelling ideally using a platform such as OneClick LCA or similar.
- Competent in data analysis
- Understanding of building design and construction.
- An understanding of the policy context around Climate Action in the UK
