Performance Manager

**£39,000 per annum (pro rata based on a full-time post)**

**39/52 weeks each year working February - November**

As one of the leading names in the outdoor industry, we pride ourselves on offering exceptional campsites, services and experiences to our members, so they can relax and make memories with loved ones when staying on one of our many campsites.

To ensure our high standards are maintained across our sites network, we have a dedicated team 10 of Network Performance Managers that oversee and support campsite staff across a dedicated region.

**We are currently recruiting for an additional Performance Manager to look after our beautiful South-Central sites, from Swindon to the New Forest and surrounding areas.**

Travel across the regions will be on a frequent basis. You will also be required to travel to our Coventry Head Office on occasion.

**Main duties and responsibilities**:

- Work as part of the Sites Operations Management Team to drive performance throughout the campsite network
- Utilise the Club’s training to embrace 'Exceptional Customer Service'
- Assist in the delivery of metrics to demonstrate site and staff performance in the delivery of Exceptional Customer Service
- Proactively manage and support Site Managers in delivering an environment that is welcoming, safe, friendly and consistent for campers across our network
- Communicate the Club’s Strategy and UK Sites network Strategy at a local level
- Report on site performance to the Head of Network Performance
- Play an active role in the recruitment and training of new staff to both Manager and Assistant roles
- Engage with members and campers on site to assess site performance
- Spend sufficient time on site to establish a clear understanding of the sites’ performance, including playing an active role in the teams’ development
- Investigate complaints and where required disciplinaries
- Be the first point of contact for Site issues relating to the operation of the site or staffing
- Play an active role in planning for budgeting for staffing and cost management

**To be successful in this role, you will have**:

- 3 years operational management experience within a similar business / team environment
- The ability to inspire and lead, through a professional and consistent approach
- Previous experience in the leisure/tourism industry, is desirable
- A Full UK Driving licence
- Excellent customer facing skills
- Demonstrable ability to build strong relationships across departments
