Overview:
Change Grow Live are a charity dedicated to the belief that we can make a difference to our Service Users lives, offering support and respect in a safe environment, treating each user as an individual and working with them to find the right treatment and care options.

As a Group Facilitator at Change Grow Live, you will take a lead role in the delivery of Change Grow Live’s Foundations Of Recovery (FoR) Programme and associated group-work/Pod and 1:1 interventions. You will work closely with Recovery Coordinators, Volunteers and peer mentors to ensure that all stages of FoR are delivered with the aim of supporting Service Users through treatment either into Medically Assisted Recovery or sustained abstinence.

Hours: 37.5hrs per week

**Salary**: £26,393.77- £30,316.74 dependent on experience

With Inner London Weighting (£3915.44)

About the role:

- To support the delivery of the FoR programme: Change - recovery priming and initiation, engagement/Motivation, Growth - Using Recovery Skills, Wellbeing and getting connected, Life - Developing depth, Healing, Abstinence, Getting Involved in the community.
- To help establish, develop and maintain a service based recovery community with direct links into the wider community
- To develop and maintain excellent working relationships with local partners including educational providers & community leaders and supporting them to deliver interventions to Change Grow Live service users
- Work closely with local and regional mutual aid and recovery groups
- To assess clients, prepare individual recovery plans and motivate service users to actively engage with their treatment journey
- To deliver effective community based recovery focused interventions to clients within both within core and shared care services.
- To actively participate in case reviews alongside Recovery Coordinators, Health and Wellbeing team, clinical colleagues and Volunteers
- To uphold all Change Grow Live policies and procedures and actively promote equality of opportunity in the course of your work.
- To collaborate effectively with partner agencies and bring a proactive approach to partnership work. To identify learning and development needs of team members and to support them in achieving their learning requirements.

About you:

- Considerable experience of working within substance misuse (including alcohol) services with a clear understanding of the need for and ability to deliver quality services.
- Excellent Knowledge and extensive experience of delivering process orientated, therapeutic group work from a recovery focussed and empowerment based ethos.
- Knowledge of the Criminal Justice System.
- Experience of delivering groups and a demonstrable understanding of the dynamics of groups.
- Extensive knowledge of the issues facing substance and alcohol misusers including social care, welfare benefits, health and emergency accommodation.
- Extensive knowledge of the recovery process and the contributing factors to treatment success and making long term sustained changes in drug and/or alcohol use, criminal behaviour and social functioning in the community Excellent knowledge of drugs and alcohol and their effects.
- Excellent knowledge of a range of Psychosocial Interventions including MI, CBT, Node link Mapping (ITEP/BTEI) and Relapse Prevention
- An understanding of pro-social modelling and the ability to model wellbeing to service users.
- The ability to maintain professional boundaries and effective working within all Criminal Justice and Community agencies.
