Position Summary
Control the MRO stores within the Washington Plant. Organise the purchase of products and liaise with suppliers and internal buying teams.
**Responsibilities**:
- Controlling the Maintenance, Repair and Operations store
- Ensure items critical to the operation are always in stock
- Administrating the MRO software systems
- Work with external suppliers to negotiate the best service and value of items
- Responsibility for the organisation of the MRO Stores
- Maintain excellent Housekeeping standards.
- Maintaining close relationships with internal departments to ensure their requirements from the MRO are met
- Responsible for MRO cost center budget
- Working closely with other members of the Materials and Buying teams
- Any other duties commensurate with the position as and when required.
What we are looking for
- Previous experience of working with SAP is highly desirable. This includes working within the following SAP functions:
- Management of Info Records
- Part creation
- PO creation
- Cycle counting
- Purchasing skills
- Manufacturing experience
- Good PC skills, including Excel, Access, Word & Outlook.
