**About The Role**:
Falmouth University are looking to recruit an enthusiastic
** Casual Stores Assistant **who will provide excellent customer service and will support the loan and storage of technical equipment. You will set-up, maintain, test, and demonstrate equipment to all stakeholders, including students, teaching and research staff, as well as external customers.

As part of a wider technical team, you will work well with others, as well as working independently and will be required to learn and uphold policies and procedures relating to loans and chase up any overdue equipment and fines.

A large part of the role will be managing equipment in an asset management system. The system will also be the interface that users will use to book and manage their own booking, therefore, you will offer help and instruct students/staff on how to use the system too. The role holder will also have a responsibility for ensuring safe health & safety practices are operated by all individuals using the stores.

**About You**:
Ideally you will have previous experience in stock related systems and will be someone that is thorough and precise, both in the management of inventory, as well as checking and maintaining the state of equipment. You will be enthusiastic to learn new skills, systems and technologies.

We would like to hear from you if you have the following skills/experience:

- Have had customer facing experience.
- Worked with an inventory management system.
- Have good IT skills.
- Experience in gallery, audio/visual, and installation work is desirable but not essential.

The Stores are open Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 22.00pm and Saturdays 9.00am to 17.00pm during undergraduate term time and Monday to Friday 0900-1700 June-August. This position will be working on a casual basis including evening and Saturday shifts to cover the store opening hours.
