As the nation celebrates King Charles’ coronation, many of us have enjoyed hearing the older people we know reminisce about their memories of the last coronation. It’s a delight to hear someone in their eighties or nineties recount such pivotal life experiences and it’s a privilege that our Care Professionals have on a regular basis.

At Home Instead Salisbury and Romsey, we provide relationship-based, companionship-led care that puts people and their unique life stories at the heart of what we do. With regular clients and minimum calls times of an hour, our Care Pros have the time to build meaningful relationships with their clients and hear them share stories from the past, whether that’s how they met their spouse or what they did to celebrate the Queen’s coronation.

**Job Description**:
Our Care Professionals support older adults to live as independently as possible in their own homes, which may mean that’s spending time with them, assisting with medication or personal care, helping with housework, or preparing a meal. Whatever the tasks, there’s the opportunity to listen to stories from an older person with a lifetime of memories and experiences.
