Our client, one of the leading Hotel & Spa’s in Cornwall, are seeking an accounts assistant on a temporary basis.

The position will be 4 days a week for minimum a month, this role would lend itself to someone looking for some temporary full-time work to subsidise their income, working within a reputable business.

The position:

- 4 days a week
- 10am - 4pm between Monday and Friday
- £10.50 an hour
- Based at the offices in St. Austell
- Minimum a month's worth of work

Key duties:

- Assisting with purchase ledger control, ensuring correct coding of invoices received from suppliers, matching valid purchase order and proof of delivery with invoice
- Assisting with the creation and inputting of invoices and producing supplier statements
- Voucher redemption
- Process invoices onto Sage, accurately and in a timely manner
- Assist in the creation of accurate logs of all payments and invoices
- Hands on experience in a previous role is essential, with the ability to hit the ground running
- Previous experience using Sage, SAHARA and OPRA systems are advantageous
- Strong IT skills - knowledge of accountancy spread sheets & word processing
- Able to act on own initiative
- Ability to maintain databases and filing system efficiently and methodically
