Racing Data Analyst

Do you have a passion for horse or greyhound racing and want to join a team of racing and sports enthusiasts?
Join PA Media Betting Services as our Racing Trader and you’ll be responsible for creating and updating live betting markets for our International horse racing and US greyhounds product.
You will be joining a fast-paced, multi-functional team where no two days are the same.
This role is based primarily in our operations centre in Howden, East Yorkshire with the flexibility to work from home one day per week.
**What you’ll be doing**:

- Creating and updating live betting markets.
- Responding to customer queries in a flexible, professional manner.
- Liaising with third party suppliers and providers.
- Ensuring that our standard operating procedures are adhered to for each service.
- Real time monitoring of live data.
The work pattern is naturally determined around a racing schedule, for this role we are looking for someone to work a combination of evenings and early hours shifts, including weekends. Shifts can be anytime from 15:00-06:00.
**What you’ll need **
Previous Trading experience is not essential - all that we ask is that you’re knowledgeable and enthusiastic about sports and/or the betting industry in general and want to join a company committed to customer satisfaction and helping the business continueto thrive.
**Key skills required are**:

- A clear understanding of key betting concepts.
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
- Good understanding of racing/greyhound industry.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- The ability to problem solve and communicate calmly under pressure.
- A professional attitude and ability to work proactively.
- Experience working to KPI’s and following operational processes.
