Field Care Supervisor

Do you have experience of working with children and or adults who have complex care needs and want to support these individuals on a 1:1 basis to enable them to live safely at home? If so, then read on
**About the role**
- Based across West Kent as part of the West Kent Complex Care Hub the field care supervisor will conduct direct observations, competency checks, appraisals and ensure staff receive regular supervisions.
- You will also be expected to carry out ongoing care needs and risk assessments and update these as required in conjunction with the Nurse Manager assigned to your team.
- In addition to working hands on with the clients, you will be responsible for staff meet and greets, new starter inductions, identifying potential gaps in rotas, ensuring team members uphold high standards of care, attending team meetings and recognising any areas of poor practice that need to be addressed.
**About you**
- A supervisory/Coaching qualification or to be willing to work towards an NVQ 3 Supervisory qualification
- Knowledge of tracheostomy, ventilation care, cough assist and enteral feeding (extensive training provided)
- Experience of working with children with complex care needs
- Community experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to plan effectively with good time management
- You will have the right to work in the UK and hold a clean UK driving licence
**What’s on offer for the Field Care Supervisor role?**
- Our client will offer you a salary of £28,350 increasing to £31,500 on successful completion of probation period plus a company car.
- 37.5 hours per week, which will include 24 hours of clinical shifts (various shift length) and the remainder of the hours working as a supervisor, flexibility is required.
