We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our growing warehouse team on a full-time (40 hours), permanent basis.

With excess of 20,000 unique products your ability to cross reference stock codes and stock locations is paramount, therefore a sharp intellect is essential.

**Available shifts**:
**Warehouse 2 Team Leader - **Thursday-Sunday 7:30am-6:30pm

**Warehouse 5 Team Leader - **Monday-Friday Rotating

You will be responsible for distributing, coordinating, and monitoring the daily activities of your team by managing resources for optimal productivity and profitability, while ensuring service, quality and health and safety standards.

**Key Responsibilities.**
- Day to Day Management of staff and activities within the department
- Co-Ordinate all activities
- Plan Workload and issue instructions to team.
- Plan labor verses activity daily
- Liaise with section manager where appropriate.
- Monitor, evaluate, and re-assess progress to achieve daily output targets.
- Deal with day to day queries and escalates if unable to resolve.
- Motivate staff to achieve targets.
- Ensures work procedures are followed and standards are maintained.
- Maintains a good standard of housekeeping within the department.
- Ensure health and safety procedures are always observed, to maintain a safe and legal working environment.
- Update Manager on daily progress or challenges within the department
- Undertake other duties as required to support the business in achieving excellence.
- All aspects of people management, issuing instructions, team briefs, return to work, coaching, training, monitoring performance and completion of relevant documentation.

- Understand the importance of achieving targets and deadlines. Consistent approach to management of staff and operations within agreed guidelines
- Understanding of basic health and safety management
- Competent WMS and PC skills
- Common sense approach with aptitude for detail

- Conscientious and hard-working individual who leads by example.
- Understands the daily targets and objectives for the department.
- Can confidently communicate work instructions to staff.
- An individual who thrives in a challenging environment and is able to multitask and prioritize.

**Duties will include**:

- Ensuring that KPI expectations are met or exceeded.
- Manage and monitor the training requirements of the staff to ensure skill levels are adequate to meet the demands to the position to which they are being asked complete.
- Training for new recruits
- Complete briefing and debriefing of staff daily.
- Establish clear and precise instructions to perform operations.
- Setting individual targets and appraising each individual accordingly to set goals.
- Coach and mentor appropriate team members to ensure continuous improvement.
- Passing on all expertise and information to teams when needed and solve discrepancies when required.
- Ensure staff start/finish, break times and absence including sickness are monitored and appropriate actions are taken.
- Conduct or be a part of investigations or undertake Disciplinary and/or grievance hearings.
- Processes admin management of personnel on site.
- Acts as a role model by leading by example.
- Manage, Monitor, and adjust goods in process to maximize space and operational staff efficiency to avoid congestion of incoming loads.
- Ensure that safe systems of work are adhered to for all activities.
- Take remedial action when required standards are not met.
- Ensure stock is booked in within reasonable time and correct method.
- Manage PDA’s and any other equipment used in the goods in Department.
- Ensure COVID-19 measures are adhered too.
- Errors and damages are reported within the correct time scale.
