**Veterinary Administrator**

Reports to: Client Care Manager

**Salary**: £24,000 per annum

Hours: Full-time (40 hours) available, offices hours 8am-8pm Monday - Friday

Contract: permanent

Start date: ASAP

Location: Farnham, GU9

The role requires a flexible, confident, and responsible approach to all aspects of the role, veterinary practice and client care.

We are looking for an experienced Administrator who would like to join our organisation to provide vital support to our Client Care / Leadership team during a very busy time.

**The role will consist of the following duties**:

- To accurately process insurance claims within agreed timescales
- To accurately record and process payments
- To liaise with clients and insurance companies on the telephone in a professional, yet sensitive manner.
- Taking calls / dealing with client queries
- Finance and Accounts Management
- Performing bank reconciliations and analysis
- Other ad-hoc duties as requested by the leadership team
**End of Month responsibilities**:

- Debt management
- Payroll and account management
- Equipment servicing
- Ad-hoc health and safety duties
- Have a minimum of 2 years administrative experience
- Have experience of processing payments and insurance claims
- Be proficient in using Microsoft software (Outlook/Excel)
- Be able to pick up and learn new tasks quickly
- Be exceptionally organised and able to prioritise own workload
- Be confident and professional when speaking with senior members of staff, clients, and insurance providers
- Be empathetic to client circumstances
- To take ownership of tasks and effectively streamline processes
- Be eligible to work in the UK
